The history of Gourmand dates back to the 1980s, when Christian Moulin, having trained as caterer, opened a catering business in the town centre of Mouscron.
Shortly after we started the expansion to our neighbouring countries and we launched Europe's first industrial pre-proofed croissant.
From there on the further evolution and expansion went fast. Introduction of filled croissants, authentic Danish pastry and special laminated value-added pastries to our assortment caused a boom to the business which could only be met by continuous investment in new production facilities and sales teams.
Today we are proud to say that already for more than 30 years now we are leading in producing and supplying value-added frozen laminated pastries to all different kind of channels throughout the world.
